CP3 weir type channel penstock
3-sided sealing

The CP3 weir type channel penstock is ideally suited for water level control in channels. This is made possible by opening the gate from the top downwards. The pre-tensioned seal of the CP3 weir type channel penstock guarantees optimum tightness, both with pressure in or against the direction of the seal.

Stainless steel weir type channel penstock with rectangular opening, 3-sided sealing

Opening dimensions 150 × 150 mm to 1500 × 1500 mm

Pressure level corresponds to the panel height

Materials

Frame and plate: Stainless steel 1.4301 (304) / 1.4404 (316L)
Spindle: Stainless steel 1.4301 (304) / 1.4404 (316L)
Spindle nut: Seawater resistent bronze (GC-CuSn 12) / Red brass RG7
Seal: EPDM (resistant to waste water and UV) / NBR (oil-resistent)

Leak tightness class

Leak rate better than DIN EN 19569, Part 4, Table 1:
- Pressure on front side: max. 1 % of 0.05 to 0.1 l · s^-1 · m^-1 (leak tightness class 3)
- Pressure on rear side: max. 5 % of 0.05 to 0.1 l · s^-1 · m^-1 (leak tightness class 3)
