The SAFOX^© penstock achieves maximum sealing performance thanks to its patented sealing system. The floating sealing ring seals perfectly to the wall and to the slide plate. It compensates for structural tolerances beyond DIN 18202.

Stainless steel penstock with circular opening

Opening dimensions DN 150 to DN 3000

Standard pressure level for pressure on the front or back sides of the slide plate:

DN 150 to DN 300: 10 mwc
DN 400 to DN 800: 8 mwc
DN 900 to DN 1200: 7 mwc
More than DN 1200: 6 mwc
Higher pressure level possible

Variants of this penstock: SAFOX^{^©}F (with flange) and SAFOX^{^©}G (with smooth sole passage)

Materials

Frame and plate: stainless steel 1.4301 (SS304) / 1.4404 (SS316L) / 1.4410 (A182 F53) / 1.4462 (A182 F51) / 1.4539 (904L) / 1.4404 (SS316L)
Seal: EPDM (wastewater- and UV-resistant) or NBR
Spindle: stainless steel 1.4301 (SS304) / 1.4404 (SS316L) / 1.4410 (A182 F53) / 1.4462 (A182 F51) / 1.4539 (904L) / 1.4404 (SS316L)
Spindle nut: GC-CuSn 12, seawater resistant bronze
