SENTINEL position indicators
made from stainless steel or cast iron

SENTINEL monitors smooth operation of buried gas and water networks. A glance is sufficient to evaluate the position of system-relevant valves. Each actuator movement is transferred directly to the indicator and thus always indicates the current opening of a valve. Particularly helpful for smooth and easy moving butterfly valves, to prevent overwinding of the valve. In addition to pure status display of the valve, SENTINEL indicators with electrical limit switches are also used for more complex applications. Monitoring a very large network or ensuring readiness of firefighting water or sprinkler systems are achieved with the help of indicators. Additional performance monitoring provides evidence for insurance protection.

The stainless steel version has an orange adjustment ring on the top of the housing. The position indicator is set to the closed position of the fitting by the customer with this setting ring.
